Faculty of Management at GLS University offers 2 years (4 Semesters) Masters of Business Administration (MBA) for all eligible graduates aspiring for a career in the field of management. On the successful completion of the 2-year programme, the students are awarded Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree. The department was established with the prime philosophy to create leaders well equipped with strong functional skills along with palpable ethos to contribute to the society at the micro as well as at the macro level.
MBA Programme offered by GLS University under the auspice of NRIBM & GLSICT-MBA have always remained the most preferred & highly sought-after institutes in the state of Gujarat since their inception before 24 years. The major focus of the programme is towards professional development of students to empower them for becoming successful management professionals in the corporate world.
For creating leaders of tomorrow, the department has developed a Unique Choice based Credit System. Students can opt for any two specializations out of Finance/Marketing/HR along with choice of subjects. The pedagogy comprises of classroom lectures, industry exposure and training, experimental learning methods, live project work, case analysis, management quiz, group discussions, corporate expert interactions, soft skill development, research orientation, and international exposure.
At the end of two years’ rigorous programme, the MBA graduates will be well equipped with critical thinking, inter-personal & decision-making skills; adapt and integrate those skills in real life scenarios; develop the aptitude for problem solving along with strategic thought processes and leadership development.
Two-years full-time programme
The MBA program is conducted on a semester basis with four semesters spread over two academic years. The duration of each semester is around 16 weeks.
First Year: In first year, each semester has 8 courses. All 16 courses during these two years are foundation subjects to acquaint students in various areas like General Management, Marketing, Finance, Quantitative Techniques and HR.
Second Year: In second year, there are core as well as elective & concentration area subjects. Through Choice Based Credit System, students select their choice of subjects along with minimum two core subjects in each semester. The elective & concentration area subjects are from three different areas namely, Marketing, Finance and Human Resource.

GLS University aims to develop graduates with competitive skills well matched to the global standards. It has developed active liaisons with many foreign universities with global repute. These academic tie-ups have ensured that both students and faculty members of these universities as well as our department can partner for Joint Research Opportunities and Exchange Programme. Several students visit Georgian University Ontario, Canada; California Baptist University, USA; The University of New Castle & Curtin University, Australia; Curtin University, Dubai; Synergy University, Russia; Luiss Business School, Italy; Leeds Beckett University, England and participate in student exchange programme for 2-4 weeks. They are exposed to innovative teaching methodologies and learn practical applications of these subjects. It becomes a great learning experience for them, interacting with international faculties and fellow students.
MBA programme aims to groom participants holistically.
