Faculty of Management, GLS University organized a Summer Internship Competition – Sanshodhan 2024 on 9th September 2024 to acknowledge, appreciate and assess the corporate learnings of the 16 selected projects on the basis of their summer internship. Experts from diverse corporate backgrounds graced the competition as judges. Mr. Deepak Tamoli, Global head of Capability Development & Campus Connect, Senior General Manager, Wagh Bakri Tea Group and Mr. Nishit Shah, Partner, Shalibhadra Mutual Fund Distributors LLP were the judges panel for the event. Intensive research, analysis and literature review of each project made the competition interesting.
Following projects were awarded on the basis of their practical implications and suggested findings. The first position was secured by Ms. Drashtiba Zala who did her research on ‘A study on green building certification from the perspective of the stakeholders’. She was awarded a certificate and cash prize of Rs. 15,000. She was followed by Ms. Rutvi Gunjariya for her study ‘A study of effect of digital marketing on SMEs’ and was felicitated with a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 10,000. The third prize was given to Mr. Meet Shah for his study ‘Understanding the adoption of two-wheeler electric vehicles – a study of knowledge, psychology, behavior and action’ and won a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 7000. The competition also had a special prize for best presentation and this prize was conferred to Mr. Pavan Ahuja. He received a cash prize of Rs. 5000.
