As a part of philosophy of FoM at GLSU to inculcate practical and experiential learning, we are organising various industrial visits for students round the year at various organisations of repute. Adani Mundra Port is one of the most sought-after industrial visits by students for over 15 years from the very beginning of the industrial visit as part of CSR initiative of Adani group.

On 2nd -3rd August, 2024, the MBA students of SEM III embarked on an industrial visit to Adani Port, one of India's largest private port operators. The visit was a part of their curriculum to gain practical insights into port operations, management, and related aspects. The students were accompanied by faculty members who guided them throughout the tour.

The visit began with a briefing session at Adani Wilmar, where the students were introduced to the company's history, operations, and management structure. They were then taken to the Adani Port, where they witnessed the massive infrastructure and learned about the port's operations, including cargo handling, logistics, and supply chain management.

The students were fascinated by the MFC (Multi-Facility Complex) process, which they observed during their visit. They gained a deeper understanding of how the port operates, including the role of various stakeholders, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Next, the students visited Adani Solar Energy, where they learned about the company's renewable energy initiatives and the importance of sustainable practices in business. They saw firsthand the solar panels and understood the process of generating clean energy.

Finally, the students visited Adani Power, where they gained insights into the power generation and distribution process. They learned about the company's efforts to reduce carbon footprint and promote energy efficiency.

Throughout the visit, the students asked questions, took notes, and interacted with Adani officials, who shared their expertise and experiences. The visit provided a unique opportunity for the students to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios, enhancing their understanding of management principles.
