N. R. Institute of Business Management (GLS MBA) at GLS University offers 2 years (4 Semesters) Masters of Business Administration (MBA) for all eligible graduates aspiring for a career in the field of management. On the successful completion of the 2-year programme, the students will be awarded the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Degree. The institute was established in 1998 with the prime philosophy to create innovative thought leaders well equipped with strong functional skills along with palpable ethos to contribute to the society at the micro as well as at the macro level. NRIBM, NAAC Accredited Institute has been among the top 10 preferred choices of the students during the admissions since last 23 years through the Centralised System of Admissions for Gujarat State. The major focus of the institute is towards professional development of students to empower them for becoming successful management professionals in the corporate world.
For creating leaders of tomorrow, the institute has developed a Unique Choice based Credit System. Students can opt for any two specializations out of Finance/Marketing/HR along with choice of subjects. The pedagogy comprise of class room lectures, industry exposure and training, experimental learning methods, live project work, case analysis, management quiz, group discussions, corporate expert interactions, soft skill development, research orientation, and international exposure.
The MBA program is conducted on a semester basis with four semesters spread over two academic years. The duration of each semester is around 16 weeks.
First Year: In first year, each semester has 8 courses. All 16 courses during these two years are foundation subjects to acquaint students in various areas like General Management, Marketing, Finance, Quantitative Techniques and HR.
Second Year: In second year, there are core as well as elective & concentration area subjects. Through Choice Based Credit System, students select their choice of subjects along with minimum two core subjects in each semester. The elective & concentration area subjects are from three different areas namely, Marketing, Finance and Human Resource.

GLS University aims to develop globally aware graduates with internationally competitive skills well matched to the international jobs and assignments of today and future. It has developed active liaisons with many foreign universities with top global repute. These academic tie-ups have ensured that both students and faculty members of these universities as well as our institute can partner for Joint Research Opportunities and Exchange Programme. Recently several students visited Georgian University Ontario, Canada; California Baptist University, USA; The University of New Castle & Curtin University, Australia; Curtin University, Dubai; Synergy University, Russia; Luiss Business School, Italy; Leeds Beckett University, England and participated in student exchange programme for 2-4 weeks. They were exposed to innovative teaching methodologies and learnt practical applications of these subjects. All of them managed to secure good grades in their final evaluation. It was a great learning experience for them, interacting with international faculties and fellow students.
