Enhancing Interviewing, Planning, and Analytical Skills in Law Students The Client Counselling Competition promotes greater knowledge and interest among law students in the preventive aspects of law and the counselling functions of legal practice. To this end, the Faculty of Law hosted the Inter-Semester Client Counselling Competition on January 4, 2025. The competition aimed to simulate real-world client interactions, challenging participants' skills in problem-solving, communication, and legal analysis within a professional setting.
At the conclusion of the competition, the judges emphasized the importance of fostering practical skills essential for aspiring lawyers. They highlighted the vital role of client counselling in legal practice, noting that a successful lawyer ensures clients feel satisfied and reassured post-counselling. Additionally, the judges commended the Faculty of Law for organizing such initiatives that bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application. The event saw participation from 29 teams representing all semesters of the Faculty of Law.
