Under the guidance of MHRD, AICTE organizes the “Smart India Hackathon” (SIH) - the world’s largest open innovation program, providing students with a national platform to address some of the most pressing issues in our daily lives.
On December 11th and 12th, 2024, the grand finale of SIH 2024 took place in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, gathering creative minds from across India to tackle real-world challenges. Team API-Fetched, comprising Mr. Sauban Vahora (Team Leader), Mr. Farman Sunasara, Mr. Humed Mansuri, Mr. Ayan Shaikh, Mr. Musab Shaikh, and Ms. Arab Aayrin, mentored by Mr. Raihan Patel, from iMSc(IT) Semester 7 participated in the problem statement provided by the Madhya Pradesh Police Department. The team focused on developing a Bar-Code Based Hardware Inventory Management System to enhance operational efficiency.
The objective of the project was to design a centralized platform for managing the technological assets of police departments, such as computers, communication devices, and servers, ensuring they are available, functional, and up to date. This solution aims to address the challenges of decentralization, inaccurate records, resource misallocation, and compliance risks.
