GLS University intends to provide various vocational skill development programmes to develop area-specific skilled youth. The vocational courses will prepare the learners for jobs by imparting specific knowledge and developing area concentrated skills. In India, over 12 million people are expected to join the workforce every year over the next decade. In order to utilise the 'demographic advantage' and to support economic growth, educational institutions need to impart "industry ready skills" to the youth.
