The University will be taking several initiatives to support the researcher in doing ground breaking research by offering comprehensive, diverse and innovative support to assist him/her in becoming an effective researcher.

The research scholars will get all possible support from the University in order to undertake a thorough research work.

  • There are a broad range of professional development programmes, which seek to successfully support the researcher through all stages of research career and in planning for the future career. Beginning with a comprehensive orientation programme, the opportunities will include:
    • Free workshops and seminars on research communication, research skills, thesis writing, IT, conferences and career development.
    • Sponsored research assistance to Senior Executives from different sectors pursuing their research programmes at GLS University.
    • Programme to develop the student’s Research e-Portfolio
    • Online support in the form of research databases, e-journals, and web subscriptions.
    • Present the research idea in thirty minutes for a chance to win research travel scholarships and prizes to attend international conferences.
    • Leadership programme for Corporates: An advanced inter-disciplinary leadership programme exclusively for doctoral students.
    • Thesis Enhancement Programme: Helps the researcher overcome the final hurdle or kick-start his/her writing if it has stalled. Also helps in identifying the gaps in the research and take action real time.
    • Practical advice on academic career planning, seeking grants, research communication and publishing in international Journals.
