GLS University at the time of its inception established Faculty of Computer Applications and Information Technology, with the objective of imparting quality education at under graduate and post graduate level in the field of Computer Applications and Information Technology. Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme was established in the year 1999 with the vision to be a pioneer institute that prepares skilled students under the umbrella of Gujarat Law Society (GLS). Currently, the institute flares its wings and touches new horizons of excellence under Faculty of Computer Applications & Information Technology, GLS University. It has become a well reputed institution with great level of excellence in academic circuits. Every year students are given Open Source software project assignments. Students install and explore the software and implement the practical applications on them.
